American Psycho! It deserves a page of it's own.

I had watched the film. then I read the script for the Broadway musical adaptation and watched a recording of it out of circumstance. And, listen, it's not like that. I can relate to Patrick Bateman in the way that all loser young men can relate to Patrick Bateman, but there comes a point when logical process just prevents some of the actual cognitive predjudice and, of course, actual heinous action. Speaking of action, it could be because I haven't watched the movie in a year but Patrick is totally a loser in the novel. In the film, you aren't fully set into his POV so naturally as an observer of his state he does seem slightly cooler. Also all of that heinous action and prejudice is toned down. Also he's just not totally lame. I do like the book, I really do, but sometimes I find myself wondering why I'm reading another chapter of good ol' Patrick yapping my lobes off about music or whatever or walking me through his mutilation process. Like, yeah, it's good, I like the, uhh, writing style? I guess? I like how Patrick is portrayed through the writing.

Fahrenheit 451

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

Classics are classics for a reason it seems. I like the writing style more than anything or any other writing style I have read.

The unquiet bones

Unquiet Bones by Mel Starr

I liked it well enough. Neat little medieval mystery. I will continue the series.
